High School: Lawrence starred at Emerson High School in McKinney, Texas for coach Kendall Miller…in two varsity seasons, Lawrence racked up 284 tackles with 23 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries, four passes defended, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery…was a two-time first team all-district selection and earned second team academic all-state recognition as a senior.
