2015 (Senior): Busquet competed in all seven meets...she finished first on the team in every meet, and placed in the top ten overall twice (Season Opener and HBU Invitational)...she finished third overall at the HBU Invitational in Sugar Land, Texas, in the 5000 meter with a time of 19:09.71...she had a top 30 finish at the Southland Conference Championships in Huntsville, Texas.
High School: Three year-letterwinner in cross country at M.B. Lamar High School in Houston.
Personal: Full name is Gabriela Pereira De Busquet...a kinesiology: wellness management major...born July 21, 1993 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil...daughter of Juan Busquet and Vera Pereira...has one sister, Viviane Lock...enjoys playing badminton.
