Biography

2015 (Sophomore): Arias competed in all seven meets, placing first on the team in five of the seven events...he finished first overall on his first meet as a Husky at the Season Opener in the 3 mile with a time of 15:44.51...he also has two top ten finishes.

Before HBU: Competed in cross country and track and field at UT Arlington...helped the Mavericks win both the cross country and outdoor track and field Sun Belt Conference Championships.

High School: Was cross country team MVP all four years...grabbed All-State Honorable Mention in cross country in 2012...is the school record holder in the 1500 meters (4:05) and also competed on the school's record-setting distance medley relay team...was a USA Junior Nationals qualifier in the 10k...qualified for regionals in track in 2013...earned a trip to the Texas Relays on three occasions...was a four-year letterman in both track and cross country and won the Most Points Award in track...had top times of 15:45 (5k cross country) and 32:00 (10k track)...named Best Student-Athlete of the Year and earned the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence...earned superior ratings in state for band in solo and ensemble categories.
