High School: Tamase was a three-year letterwinner for Coach Kirk Martin at Manvel High School in Manvel…as a senior, recorded 60 pancake blocks and was a unanimous All-District 22-5A First-Team selection…also earned second-team all-state, second-team All-Greater Houston and first-team Region III 5A Elite Team honors…as a junior, had 38 pancake blocks…as a sophomore, had 27 tackles and two sacks in helping the Mavericks to the Class 4A Division II state championship.
