2012: Gaffney was named to the Great West Conference All-Newcomer Team as a sophomore…started all 31 matches and sat out only one set, playing in 106…ranked fourth on the team with 255 kills for an average of 2.41 per set…led the team with 85 total blocks, averaging 0.80 per set…recorded double-digit kills in 10 matches…posted a career-high 19 kills against Texas Tech (9/14)…had 15 kills in the season opener against Lamar (8/24)…had a season-high six blocks and recorded 12 kills against McNeese State (9/1).
 
Prior to HBU: Played one season at Texas State for head coach Karen Chisum, before transferring to HBU…for the season played in 72 sets, hitting .363 with 92 kills and 50 total blocks…averaged 1.28 kills and 0.69 blocks per set…named to the hofstra/Asics Invitational All-Tournament Team…hit .696 for the tournament, including a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage in the final match against Canisius, where she had seven kills on seven attempts…had six kills in her first collegiate match against Missouri State, hitting .600…made the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Dean’s List for both the fall and spring semesters…member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.
 
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner and was named captain for coach Scott Simonds at Clear Creek High School…was an all-state and academic all-state selection as a senior…tabbed Galveston County Player of the Week and was named to the Duncanville Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team…made the 24-5A all-district first team as a junior and senior and second team as a sophomore…was a three-time academic all-district honoree…led the Wildcats to the state final in 2008 and the region final in 2007…named to the Galveston County All-Area first team as a junior and second team as a junior…off the court, was a DUKE Tip Scholar, a member of National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars…made the A/B Honor Rollplayed club volleyball for coach Todd Porter and director Katie Garza at Absolute Volleyball Academy (AVA).
