2010 All-Great West Conference First Team
2011 (Senior): Led the Huskies with a .364 batting average, starting all 59 games... she led the team with 68 hits and her 17 doubles were one shy of the single-season record in program history...her six home runs were second on the team and her 34 RBI were two shy of the leader...her .364 batting average was second in the conference...she had 20 games where she had two or more hits and four 3-hit games...she had a span of three 3-hit games in four games...she went 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBI against Grambling State on Feb. 27...a Great West Conference Player of the Week honoree twice this season, Mlcak was third on the team with a .306 batting average in conference play, with 11 hits, one double, one home run and four RBI while going 3-for-4 in stolen bases...she had a string of 33 hits in 23 games...earned First Team All-Conference, Great West Conference Player of the Year and First Team Capital One Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) honors.
2010 (Junior): Started all 46 games…led team in batting average (.331), at-bats (139), runs (20), hits (46) and RBI (21) while tied for second in doubles (6) and second on the team in home runs (3)…led team with four stolen bases…hit two home runs against North Dakota on March 27, the second one being the game winner in the eighth inning…had a 10-game hitting streak from April 10 through April 24…Great West All-Conference First Team honoree and was named All-America Scholar Athlete by the NFCA.
Previous College: Named Second Team All-Region at Galveston College…Dean’s List student all four semesters and graduated with an associate’s degree.
High School: Four-year First Team All-District selection in softball….three-time First Team All-State…team was four-time TAPPS State Champions..three-time All-District First Team selection in volleyball…two-time All-State Honorable Mention…four-time All-District selection in basketball…4x100 District Champions in 2007 in track…All-America nominee in cheerleading…National Honor Society member who graduated fifth in her class.
Personal: Full name is Mollye Katherine Mlcak...double-majoring in psychology and kinesiology...born on April 2, 1989 in Galveston, Texas...daughter of Randy and Leslye Mlcak...has one brother, Ranse...enjoys skimboarding, long boarding and watching One Tree Hill.
