Before HBU: Participated in track and field at the University of North Texas for head coach Derek Mackel.
High School: Three-year letterwinner in track for Coach Laughery at Sachse High School...placed fourth overall in the triple jump at the 2013 UIL State Championships.
Personal: Majoring in kinesiology: wellness management...born Feb. 21, 1995 in Oklahoma City, Okla...son of Richard and Glenda Williams...has one brother, Richard Williams, Jr...two sisters, Dahlia Lockhart and Lisa Laffery...sister Dahlia was a high jumper at the University of Arizona from 1987-91 and reached the 1989 NCAA National Championships...enjoys drawing, playing basketball and football...Austin is also a member of the HBU football team.
