2015: Staver started 10 games at quarterback for the Huskies as a sophomore…completed 80-of-187 passes for 1,010 yards, five touchdowns and nine interceptions…completed 13-of-19 passes for 241 yards and two TDs in the season opener against Bethany (9/5)…went 10-for-29 for 122 yards and a TD against Northern Colorado…set new school records with 22 completions, 40 attempts and 276 yards with a TD against Central Arkansas (10/10)…completed 8-of-21 passes for 125 yards, including a season-long 49-yard completion, at Nicholls (10/17)…went 7-for-21 for 113 yards and a TD at Stephen F. Austin (11/14).

Previous College: Played in two games at Tyler Junior College in 2014 as a redshirt freshman, before suffering a season-ending injury...for the Apaches, he completed 8-of-19 passes for 96 yards and rushed four times for 25 yards...as a true freshman, he did not see action and redshirted at Florida under Will Muschamp.

High School: As a senior for Coach Cody White at Brentwood Academy, Staver passed for 1,715 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 265 yards and six touchdowns on the ground...as a junior, accumulated 1,872 yards and 19 touchdowns...was named to The Tennessean’s Dandy Dozen in 2012...was a high school teammate of current Huskies wide receiver Brandon Taylor.
