2014 (Senior): One of four Huskies to start all 16 matches…scored two goals, which came at Bakersfield (10/19) and the game winner against Air Force (11/9)…second on the team with 1436 minutes played, as he appeared in 90 or more minutes 13 times.

2013 (Junior): Played in and started 13 matches...had three shots and one shot on goal...played in 1130 minutes, as he played in 90 or more minutes nine times.

Before HBU: Played two seasons at the University of Tulsa for head coach Tom McIntosh...appeared in 22 matches with eight starts...recorded an assist against Dartmouth during freshman campaign.

High School: Four-year letterwinner and starter in soccer for Mayde Creek....played club for Houston Dynamo and head coach James Clarkson....made four appearances with the reserve team...led the Dynamo to a third place finish in the MLS SUM U-17 Cup.

Personal: Full name is Miguel Angel Zapata...a kinesiology: wellness management major...born April 30, 1993 in Houston...son of Miguel and Gabriela Zapata...has two sisters, Diane and Kenise...enjoys listening to music.
