2016: Timmons appeared in all 11 games as a junior...recorded 37 tackles (15 solo), five for losses, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, three quarterback hurries and one pass breakup…recorded a career-high eight tackles with a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup at Incarnate Word (11/17)…made seven stops, four for losses, 2.5 sacks and caused two fumbles in a 31-24 victory over Stephen F. Austin (11/12).

2015: Timmons played in 10 games a sophomore, making 17 tackles (nine solo), one sack and one quarterback hurry…recorded three tackles in the season opener against Bethany (9/5) and at Sam Houston State (9/26)…made a season-high five tackles, two for losses, a sack and a quarterback hurry against Incarnate Word (11/21).

2014: Appeared in nine games as a true freshman…made 19 tackles (16 solo)…had a season-high nine tackles against Southeastern Louisiana (11/8).

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for Coach Jason Baggett at Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston…ranked among the Houston Chronicle’s Top 100 recruits…as a senior, recorded 52 tackles, four interceptions, including one for a touchdown to earn first-team all-district honors…also had 12 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns…as a junior, had 45 tackles, 12 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdowns to earn district defensive MVP and all-district honors…as a sophomore, returned an interception for a touchdown and had 11 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown and two rushing touchdowns…was also a four-year letterwinner in basketball, averaging 13 points and 15 rebounds per game, and was named district defensive MVP…named 2010 Freshman of the Year…member of the National Honor Society from 2010-2014 and was a second-team academic all-state selection.

Personal: Full name is Taaron Demond Timmons…born Feb. 12, 1996, in Houston…son of De’Aaron Johnson and Natasha Timmons…has two brothers, Timmel and Timothy Davis…brother, Timmel, plays football at West Texas A&M…majoring in kinesiology.
