2016: Brown appeared in 10 games as a junior, recording 16 tackles and one quarterback hurry…made a season-high three tackles in the season-opener at Central Arkansas (9/1)…posted two tackles six times…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2015: Brown played in all 11 games as a sophomore, ranking sixth on the team with 47 tackles (21 solo) and recording 1.5 sacks, one fumble recovery and three pass breakups…made eight tackles, including a sack, and broke up a pass in the season opener against Bethany (9/5)…recorded seven tackles and recovered a fumble at Abilene Christian (9/19)…tied his season high with eight tackles, all solo, at Sam Houston State (9/26)…posted six tackles against Central Arkansas (10/10) and at Nicholls (10/17).
2014: Started all 11 games at linebacker for HBU, ranking second on the team with 62 tackles (44 solo)…made eight tackles for losses totaling 18 yards…had a pass breakup, a pass defensed, a quarterback hurry and blocked a kick…made a season-high nine tackles against McMurry (9/6) and at Northern Colorado (9/13)…made seven tackles, including two for losses, against Abilene Christian (9/27)…made eight tackles, including two for losses, at Southeastern Louisiana (11/8).
2013: Started all seven games at linebacker for the Huskies, posting at least six tackles in every game…ranked second on the team with 61 tackles (37 solo)...recorded three tackles for loss, including two sacks, an interception for a touchdown, five passes defensed, which included four breakups…had seven tackles against Sam Houston State…recorded a season-high 13 tackles (10 solo), a sack and a pass breakup at Wayland Baptist…made seven stops, including one for a loss, and returned an interception 26 yards for a score against Oklahoma Baptist…had nine tackles and a pass breakup against Abilene Christian at BBVA Compass Stadium…made six tackles and had a sack for an 18-yard loss at Incarnate Word…made nine tackles against Texas College…had 10 tackles and broke up two passes against Texas A&M-Commerce.
High School: Was a one-year letterwinner at Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas, for coach Patrick McGinnis…as a senior, recorded six sacks, six-and-half tackles for loss, 15 quarterback hurries, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, one blocked punt and four pancake blocks on special teams…was also a three-year letterwinner in track and field…named to the 2012 all-academic team.
Personal: Full name is Terrell Anthony Brown III…born Feb. 1, 1995, in Houston…son of Terrell Brown Jr. and Sabrina Gaines…has one younger brother, Tavarus, and one younger sister, Tania…majoring in accounting.
