2014 (Senior): Appeared in and started nine matches….went 0-7-2 with a 2.66 goals-against average and a .696 save percentage…stopped a career-high nine shots in the season opener at Drake (8/29)…stopped five or more shots in a game seven times…ranked third in the all-time record books in wins (8) and tied-for-fifth in shutouts (5).

2013 (Junior): Appeared in and started 11 matches, missing seven due to injury...had a 4-4-2 record, a .1.55 goals-against average, a .679 save percentage, and two shutouts...was named WAC Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 4 after he made five saves, including stopping a penalty kick in overtime to preserve a shutout against the WAC's leading scorer...made a season-high seven saves at Bakersfield (10/25).

2012 (Sophomore): Played in nine matches with seven starts...had a 1-4-1 record, with a 2.13 GAA and .634 save percentage...made 26 saves...made season-high six saves against #4 New Mexico (9/30).

2011 (Freshman): Appeared in 11 matches with eight starts...recorded a 3-6-2 record, a 1.70 goals-against average, a .721 save percentage and three shutouts...played in 1004:40 minutes...made career-high eight saves against Butler (9/11)...named ASC Rookie of the Week (10/10) and ASC Goalkeeper of the Week (10/17).

Previous College: Attended Lone Star College in 2010-11.

High School: Honors include First Team All-District, Second Team All-Region and Dynamo Top VI...three-year team captain...played club for head coach James Clarkson...had an undefeated season in 2009-10...two-time regional quarterfinalist and two-time bi-district champions....district champions in 2009-10.

Personal: Psychology major...born March 6, 1992 in Santa Ana, Calif...son of Felix Hernandez and Olga Aguirre...has one brother, Oscar, and three sisters: Denise, Crystal and Genesis...enjoys hanging out with friends.
