High School: Four-year letterwinner and four-year starter in softball at Jim Ned Consolidated...earned First Team All-District, Second Team All-District, First Team All-State, and Big Country Player of the Year.

Personal: Full name is Lauren Delayne Powers....a government major who plans on going to law school after graduation...born Oct. 19, 1993, in College Station, Texas...daughter of Victor Powers and Stephanie Watts...has two brothers, Keegan Watts and Kolsen Powers, and one sister, Macy Watts...her mom swam for Texas A&M University...enjoys reading, being outside, wakeboarding, and being at the lake.
