KERRVILLE, TEXAS - The Huskies will return to action this week at The Big Texan hosted by UTRGV in Kerrville, Tx at the 7,137 yards, par 72, Riverhill Country Club.
 This will be the first time the Big Texan will be hosted at Riverhill Country Club after hosting previously at Comanche Trace. The 54-hole event will feature 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
HCU placed 7
th at the 2022 The Big Texan and their fifth straight appearance at The Big Texan, cancelled in 2020.
The 13-team field include: HCU, UTRGV, New Orleans, SFA, Odessa College, Midland College, Tarleton State, Texas A&M-Commerce, Incarnate Word, Southeastern Louisiana, Texas Southern, Ranger College, and Schreiner with individuals from TCU and Texas Tech.
HCU's line-up will feature senior's
Ransom Jacobson and
Ben Caton, junior
Cooper New, sophomore
Shaheen Momin, and freshmen
Roy Barrera and
Mason Napier (playing as an individual).
HCU will play the first two rounds with the Odessa College and Texas A&M-Commerce, teeing off starting at 7:45 a.m. through 8:30 a.m.
