MSOC: Huskies Travel West to Face San Jose State

HCU will stay on the road and head up north from San Jose to face Seattle on Sunday, October 2, at 9:00 p.m. CST.

Houston - The HCU men's soccer team is heading west once again to begin their conference play. Their first Western Atlantic Conference game will be against the San Jose State Spartans at the Spartan Soccer Complex at 9:00 p.m. CST.

The Huskies (4-3-2) are coming off a three-game win streak and are looking to keep the streak alive this Friday. They have also had three consecutive shutouts and have outscored their opponents 14 goals to zero within their last three games. Bryant Farkarlun continues to lead the Huskies in goals scored with 6 in total and Alex Aitken has the most goals saved for the huskies at 37.

San Jose State (3-3-1) is coming off a winning streak of their own after beating UC Davis and the University of Pacific in back-to-back games. They have scored a total of 9 goals on the year and they have recorded two shutouts. This will be their first conference game as well. The Spartans are coached by Simon Tobin.
