MSOC: Huskies Make in a Three-Game Win Streak After Beating UIW 2-0

Houston - The HCU men's soccer team continues their win streak tonight after beating UIW 2-0. This was their third shutout of the year and their longest win streak this year.

The Huskies (4-3-2) were putting up a lot of shots at the beginning of the game with a total of five before they scored their first goal of the night. Ethan Giwa-Mcneil scored the goal and Bryant Farkarlun assisted it. After the goal, UIW started getting chippy by taking on a total of 7 yellow cards which lead them to be down a man after the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Bryant Farkarlun had a ball kicked to him down the stretch by Kaone Kolagano and scored HCU's second goal of the night just as time was counting down.

The Huskies put up a total of 14 shots on the night, 5 of which were on goal. HCU's goalie Alex Aitken had one save on the night.

HCU will be heading west this upcoming Friday to face San Jose State in San Jose California. The game will start at 9:00 p.m. CST
