HOUSTON - HCU returns for its final home game and final conference contest of the season when it hosts McNeese in Southland Conference football on Senior Day, as well as Military & First Responders Appreciation Day presented by Houston Federal Credit Union Saturday at 2 p.m. at Husky Stadium. The game will be shown on ESPN+ with Garrett Jones and Jonathan Fleming.

Vernon Harrell has 32 catches for 438 yards and two touchdowns and junior
Deon Cormier has 34 catches for 229 yards and a score.

Rodney Dansby leads the league and ranks second nationally with 11.9 tackles per game, while senior linebacker
Brennan Young has 81 tackles, 8.5 for loss, and has 402 tackles for his career. Junior linebacker
Jalyx Hunt has 74 tackles and leads the conference with seven sacks and 11.5 TFLs. Senior safety
Coi Miller has a school-record tying four interceptions and sophomore cornerback
Devion Hargrove has 11 pass breakups.

Ryan Roberts is expected to start at quarterback and has completed 13-of-21 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown, while Knox Kadum has completed 82-of-163 passes for 978 yards and six touchdowns for the Cowboys (2-7, 0-4). Deonta McMahon has rushed for 966 yards and 10 touchdowns and caught 20 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Pierce has 40 catches for 512 yards and two touchdowns and Josh Matthews has 14 catches for 196 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Kordell Williams has made 96 tackles and 2.5 sacks for McNeese. Mason Kinsey and Amaud Willis-Dalton each have 50 tackles or more. Tyler Barnes leads the Cowboys with three interceptions and six pass breakups.
