Houston - The HCU men's soccer team is set to play their final regular season game of the season against UTGRV. The game will start at 6:30 P.M. Houston Christian University (HCU), formerly Houston Baptist University (HBU), underwent a name change in September 2022.
The Huskies (5-7-6, 1-4-3 WAC) are looking to win their final game in the WAC this week and earn a sport in the conference tournament. They tied their last game against UIW leading up to this game. UTGRV (6-7-3, 3-4-1 WAC) also faced UIW in their last game and came away with the win. This will also be a big game for UTGRV as they are looking to gain a bid into the tournament.
The Huskies have scored six goals in their last three games. The final decisions for the tournament will be made this upcoming week.
