MSOC: Huskies Keep Their Scoring Streak Alive in a Tie Against Utah Tech

HCU will be heading to Utah Valley and California Baptist next week as they wrap up the remaining 3 weeks of WAC play until the tournament

Houston - The HCU men's soccer team tied Utah Tech 1-1. They were down until the end of the second half when the Huskies saved the loss. HCU continues its scoring streak by scoring in every game they have played this year.

There was not much offense in the first half. Utah Tech had two shots in the first half and HCU put up five. HBU seemed to have more control of the ball during the first half. HBU pushed the ball hard toward the goal in the second half but got a little too aggressive by forcing a penalty kick. The penalty kick by Utah Tech went in for a goal in the 65th minute, giving them the lead. HCU made a strong push for the goal during the remaining minutes of the game and scored in the 86th minute. The goal was kicked by Daniel Wilkins and assisted by Bangelee Sesay and Abu Kamara

Bryant Farkarlum had the most shots with three during the game. A total of 6 huskies took a shot at the goal. Alex Aitken recorded two saves in the day.

HCU will be heading to Utah Valley and California Baptist next week as they wrap up the remaining 3 weeks of WAC play until the tournament. Their first game will be at Utah Valley on Thursday. The game will start at 8:00 p.m. CST.
