MSOC: Huskies Set to Play Their Final Home Game of the Season Against Air Force

The Huskies will play a non-conference game against UIW next week

Air Force (6-4-2, 5-0 WAC) at HCU Huskies (5-6-5, 1-2-3 WAC)

Houston - The HCU men's soccer team is set to play their final home game on Sunday. They will face Air Force, who is the current front-runner in the WAC. Houston Christian University (HCU), formerly Houston Baptist University (HBU), underwent a name change in September 2022.

The Huskies (5-6-5, 1-3-3 WAC) have lost three games in a row and are looking to get one more home win before they hit the road for their last two games of the season. Air Force (6-4-2, 5-0 WAC) is undefeated in WAC play. The Huskies have scored three goals in their last three games. The current scoring leaders on HCU include Bryant Farkarlun with eight goals and Ethan Giwa-McNeil with four goals. They are also the assist leaders with five each. Alex Aitken has recorded 72 saves with a save percentage of .750.

HCU will enter into their bye week next week. The Huskies will play a non-conference game against UIW next week. That game will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday.
