HCU Huskies (5-5-5, 1-2-3 WAC) at Grand Canyon (4-5-3, 1-1-2 WAC)

Houston - The HCU men's soccer team heads home for their final two home games of the season. The Huskies are set to face Grand Canyon tomorrow at 7:30 P.M. Houston Christian University (HCU), formerly Houston Baptist University (HBU), underwent a name change in September 2022. 

The Huskies (5-5-5, 1-2-3 WAC)are coming off a loss against California Baptist last Saturday. They haven't scored a goal in their previous two but they remain the highest-scoring team and the 2nd best-shooting team in the WAC. HCU has scored a total of 28 goals this year and they have shot a total of 172 times. They are also ranked first in goals allowed with a total of 13, credited to Alex Aitken. The Huskies have 4 games remaining in the season before they begin the conference tournament. The Huskies have been playing well at Sorrels Field this year with a record of 3-0-2. 

GCU (4-5-3, 1-1-2 WAC) is coming off a tie game against Cal Baptist U. They have scored in all their other WAC games this year. They have also been scored on in all other WAC games. The Antelopes have five games reaming in the tight WAC race to the conference tournament. 

The Huskies will play their final home game on Sunday. The game will start at 3:00 p.m. and be held at Sorrels Field.
