Sara Arroyo each had eight kills for the Huskies (5-3). Gadway led HBU with 15 digs and May added 10. Junior setter

Ellie Bichelmeyer led the Owls (3-2) with 10 kills and Sahara Maruska had seven to go along with 10 digs. Carly Graham handed out 30 assists, while Nia McCardell had 15 digs and Tia Grippo had 10.
Rice outdug HBU, 51-47, and outblocked the Huskies, 10-5, with Danyle Courtland posting four for the Owls and Gadway and senior middle blocker
Ebonie Ballesteros with three each for the Huskies.
The Huskies return to action against North Florida, Louisiana Tech and TCU at the "Fight in the Fort" Thursday and Friday in Fort Worth.
