CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - No. 2 seed HBU defeated New Orleans, 3-1, before edging Central Arkansas, 3-2, to advance at the Southland Conference Championship Saturday afternoon at the Islander Courts at The Water's Edge.

The Huskies will now face No. 3 seed Stephen F. Austin in a rematch on Sunday at noon, with the winner facing Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 2 p.m. in the Championship Dual. HBU is currently 1-1 with SFA this season winning once during the regular season but facing a loss during Dual 4 on Friday. The Huskies went 0-3 against TAMU-CC during the regular season and have yet to face them in the tournament.
