BVB: Huskies No. 2 Seed in Conference Championship

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - HBU is sitting as the No. 2 seed for the inaugural Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championship taking place on April 23rd, 24th, and 25th at the Islander Court's at The Water's Edge.
The Huskies will face the winner of match two featuring No. 3 seed SFA and No. 6 seed Southeastern Louisiana. Match two will take place Friday, April 23rd at 12 P.M. with the winner facing HBU immediately after at 2 P.M.
In the regular season, the Huskies are 1-1 against SFA, the most recent match being a 4-1 win at the HBU Tournament on April 18th. The Huskies are 1-0 against Southeastern Louisiana after beating them 5-0 at the HBU Tournament.
Other championship competitors include No. 1 seeded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, No. 4 Central Arkansas, and No. 5 New Orleans. In the regular season, the Huskies are 0-3 against TAMUCC, 0-1 against Central Arkansas, and 1-0 against New Orleans.
