CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi hit .317 for the match in a 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-23) victory over HBU in Southland Conference volleyball Saturday afternoon in Dugan Wellness Center.
 
Sophomore right side 
Anna Gadway recorded a season-high 13 kills with nine digs and four assists for the Huskies (4-2). Junior middle blocker 
Jada Allen had 10 kills, while redshirt freshman outside hitter 
Reagan Leinen was held to seven and senior outside hitter 
Mikayla Vivens and junior middle blocker 
Ebonie Ballesteros were held to four each and Ballesteros, the league's leading blocker, only had one. Sophomore setter 
Ellie Wipf had 29 assists and redshirt freshman libero 
Kaley Feris had 15 digs.
 
Rachel Young had 13 kills and five digs for the Islanders (5-3), while Chloe Simon had 12 kills and 12 digs. Montez Uigaese and Hannah Froeschl each had eight kills. Faith Panhans dished out 40 assists and seven kills and Carissa Barnes had 25 digs.
 
The Huskies hit .244 for the match, with TAMU-CC outdigging HBU, 64-47. The Huskies outblocked the Islanders, 8-2.
 
HBU returns home to host Northwestern State Thursday at 6:30 p.m., followed by Central Arkansas Saturday at noon, both in Sharp Gym.
