PHOENIX, AZ – The HBU men's soccer team travels to Arizona looking for their first win of the season, continuing conference play against Grand Canyon University.
The Lopes (2-1,0-0 WAC) currently lead the series 5-2 and last saw action against the Huskies (0-1-1,0-1 WAC) in October of 2019 with a victory from HBU. The Huskies had 10 shots with five shots on goal, scoring four goals on the game. HBU had three goals against with six saves while GCU had four goals against, and one save. GCU had 21 shots and nine shots on goal with three goals scored on the game.
The Huskies have yet to score this season while GCU has 15 goals on the season. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. central time at GCU Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 20.
HBU will next see action back at Sorrels Field on Saturday, Feb. 27 for a 2 p.m. kickoff against California Baptist.
