LAKE CHARLES, La. – HBU faces McNeese in the Southland Conference regular-season finale Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Rec Complex. The Huskies trail conference-leading Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, who is at home against UIW, by one match heading into the final contest.
HBU will host the Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament Nov. 18-21 at Sharp Gym in Houston. The Huskies and Islanders have already locked up the top two seeds and will have double byes to the semifinals.

Anyse Smith is averaging 4.24 kills per set over the last six conference matches for the Cowgirls (16-9, 9-4), who have secured the No. 3 seed in the tournament. Aryn Johnson is averaging 3.29 kills per set in league play, while Macee Krpec adds 2.51 kills per set. Cici Harness (6.35 assists per set) and Baylee Laskoskie (4.60 assists per set) guide the offense. Lizzy Low averages 4.24 digs per set, while Bria Plante puts up 1.15 blocks per set.
HBU will either play at noon or 2:30 p.m. in the semifinals Saturday, Nov. 20 in Sharp Gym.
