NACOGDOCHES, Texas – HBU will play two more matches in its abbreviated schedule when it takes on ULM at 10:30 a.m., followed by Southland Conference rival Stephen F. Austin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday inside Shelton Gym.

Kelly Colwell led the Huskies (0-2) with 16 kills and 36 digs in the two matches against Louisiana last weekend. Senior outside hitter
Mikayla Vivens had nine kills and 13 digs and sophomore middle blocker
Ebonie Ballesteros recorded seven kills and four blocks. Sophomore setter
Ellie Wipf had 50 assists, averaging 7.14 per set. Sophomore libero
Marisabel Torres-Rivera came up with 33 digs, averaging 4.71 per set, and junior middle blocker
Jada Allen led HBU with five blocks.
ULM has a familiar face on the bench, as the Huskies' all-time assists leader, Kayla Armer, is an assistant coach for the Warhawks. ULM won its opener earlier today in four sets over Lamar. Haley Coulter posted 21 kills and 23 digs, while Cali Assaley added 11 kills and Ina Gosen 10. Madeline Hogan chipped in with 19 digs and Chloe Jordan had 18.
SFA (2-1) is the three-time defending, regular-season conference champion and defeated Central Arkansas, 3-1, before falling to Texas State, 3-0, last weekend. The Ladyjacks swept Lamar earlier today. Ariana Pagan leads SFA with 25 kills, followed closely by Payton Cerny with 24. Madelynn Miller has 46 digs, averaging 4.6 per set, with Ashley Procious and Taya Hill tied for the team lead with 10 blocks each.
The Huskies finish off the fall season with a pair of matches next weekend against Texas State in San Marcos.
