MSOC: Huskies Open Up WAC Play On the Road Against Utah Valley
OREM, Utah- HBU Men's Soccer is set to open up WAC play on the road against Utah Valley. The Huskies are coming off a 2-1 OT win over IUPUI.
HBU (2-4) was led in the win over IUPUI by
Tim Ugo and
Daan Snellink. Ugo got a goal early in the second half on the assist from
Gianluca Natera to tie the game up at one, which ended up forcing overtime. Snellink put the game away quickly in just the third minute of overtime.
Luis Poblacion put a ball into the box off a corner that got to Snellink for the game winner.
Utah Valley (3-3-1) The Wolverines are coming off a 2-1 defeat against #6 ranked Saint Mary's. The Wolverines are led by Blake Frischknecht who has 4 goals on the season. Alec Felix follows him up with two goals of his own with three assists.
HBU will have their next two games on the road as well when they face off with Seattle and San Jose State.
