MSOC: HBU Soccer Falls to Oral Roberts on the Road
TULSA, OK- HBU Men's Soccer Falls to the Golden Eagles of Oral Roberts Friday night by a final score of 1-4.
The Huskies fell behind quickly as the Golden Eagles were able to start the scoring off in just the 1st minute of the game. Fredrick Ullersmo was credited with the goal and was assisted Tanguy Guerineau & Wanes Hobat. The Golden Eagles continued their offensive output with two more 1st half goals one coming from Dante Brigida and Reed Berry.
HBU would get onto the scoreboard in the 2nd half in the 72nd minute when Oral Roberts was given an own goal, but would surrender a fourth and final goal in the 73rd minute from Josselyn Petel.
The Huskies were able to get four shots on the night with three of them coming on goal. Oral Roberts were able to get 14 shots with eight of them on goal. Each team had three corners and racked up double digit fouls.
HBU next meets up with Central Arkansas Sept. 15th at 1:00 P.M. in Conway as the Huskies wrap up their four game road trip and return to Sorrels Field against IUPUI on Sept.21 at 8:00 P.M.
