MSOC: Huskies Ready for Road Test Against Oral Roberts
TULSA, OK- HBU Men's Soccer Faces off against Oral Roberts tonight on the road as they take on their third straight road matchup. The Huskies are coming off a 4-0 loss to #1 ranked Wake Forest.
HBU (1-2) got their last win against Wofford by a score of 2-0 before falling to both SMU and Wake Forrest this past week. The Huskies have three players tied for the team lead in goals at one, they are
Jordi Cobo,
Thomas Menke, and
Gianluca Natera. Natera also leads the squad in shots with six.
Jorge Cabrera is expected to get the start in goal tonight and has 13 saves on the season.Â
Oral Roberts (3-1) is coming off a 1-0 victory against California Baptist on the road, they are led by Dante Brigida who leads the team with four goals. He is followed up by Reed Berry who has two of his own to go with two assists. The Golden Eagles have split their workload on the goal keepers with Miles Motakef and Patrick Consol each getting two starts a piece. Motakef has been the the more succesful keeper with a .917 save percentage with 13 saves on the season.Â
HBU will wrap up their road trip as the travel to Conway, Arkansas to take on Central Arkansas before returning home to Sorrels Field to face IUPUI Sept. 21st at 8:00 P.M.Â
