WGOLF: HBU Competing in Cardinal Challenge in Beaumont
HOUSTON- HBU women's golf is set to tee off Monday morning in the Cardinal Challenge at the Beaumont Country Club.
HBU is paired up with the University of Illinois at Chicago as well as the University of Texas Arlington. The Huskies will start at holes 5-9 on day one of the tournament.Â
In addition to host team Lamar, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston State, UIW, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Illinois-Chicago, Stephen F. Austin, Texas State and UT Arlington in the field.
The Huskies look to build off their Tournament win two weeks ago when HBU hosted the HBU Husky Invitational. In that tournament all five of the Husky lineup finished inside the top 20 led by
Sara Zrnikova who finished in 5th place.
