WGOLF: Huskies Finish in 10th at Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational
KANEOHE BAY, HAWAII- HBU women's golf finished in 10th place at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Hawaii. As a team the Huskies shot a 61-over par 925 total.
The Huskies were led by
Alisa Chong who finished in a tie for 28th place shooting a 74 in the final round.
Lexi Brooks finished with a 233 total after also shooting a 74 in her final round.
Kaity Cummings and
Sara Zrnikova tied for 44th place with 235 totals, Cummings shooting a final round 80 and Zrnikova shooting a final round 79.
Tiffany Nguyen shot a total 237 after a final round of 76.
The University of Texas and SMU tied for the team lead with 23-over par 887's. Texas A&M followed them up with a 32-over par 896 to take third place. Courtney Dow of Texas A&M took home the individual win posting a even 216. Brigitte Dunn of SMU and Marie Lund-Hansen of Washington State came in a tie for second place shooting 3-over par 219's.
The women's golf team will return to action March 18-19 as they host the HBU Husky Invitational.
