MSOC: Huskies Face Off With Kansas City For Final Tournament Spot
HOUSTON- HBU Men's Soccer has their regular season finale this Friday at Sorrels Field at 7:00 P.M. as they take on the Kansas City Roos with the winner making it to the WAC conference tournament.
HBU (6-10, 4-6 WAC) have won three of their last four matches as they look take down KC on Senior Night. The Huskies are led by
Dominick Faletto who leads the team in points and goals at 12 and six. He is followed up by
Gianluca Natera who has eight points off of two goals and four assists. Natera who missed the last match for HBU will return to action Saturday night.
Jorge Cabrera will look to get the start in goal for the Huskies coming in with a 63.4 save percentage and 45 saves on the season.Â
Kansas City (6-9, 5-5 WAC) is riding the heels of a 1-0 win over California Baptist last week to set up this week's showdown. The Roos are led by Ryan Khedoo who leads the team with four goals to go with one assist. He is backed by David Ray-Campoy and Kevin Komodi who each have seven points on the season and combine for five goals and four assists. Filippo Errico will start in goal for Kansas City coming in with a 70.6 save percentage and 72 saves on the season.Â
The game will be streamed on the WAC Digital Network with kickoff set for 7:00 P.M.
