HOUSTON – HBU will play its final two home matches of the season when its faces Central Arkansas Thursday, followed by Northwestern State on Senior Day Saturday in Southland Conference volleyball in Sharp Gym.

In the prior meetings on the road to begin conference play, HBU defeated UCA, but fell to NSU.
Central Arkansas Sugar Bears (12-13, 6-6 SLC)
Abbie Harry averages 4.20 kills per set, which ranks second in the league in conference play, while Madi Bowles is hitting .402, which ranks third, and adds 3.04 kills per set. Lexi Miller averages 2.83 kills per set. Bailey Waddington and Elizabeth Armstrong direct the offense, with Waddington dishing out 5.88 assists per set and Armstrong 5.02. Emily Doss ranks fifth in the SLC with 4.25 digs per set.
Northwestern State Lady Demons (18-8, 10-2 SLC)
NSU enters the weekend second in the conference standings and are led by Hannah Brister, who leads the league with 4.60 kills per set and adds 2.78 digs per set. Alexis Warren averages 2.98 kills and 3.18 digs per set. Kourtney Seaton contributes 2.22 kills per set. Caymon Sutton averages 5.44 assists per set and Skyler Besch 4.93. Megan Lohmiller ranks fourth in the conference with 4.71 digs per set.
The Huskies close out the regular season on the road against Nicholls Thursday, Nov. 14, followed by the finale against New Orleans Saturday, Nov. 16.
