THIBODAUX, La. - HBU comes off its bye week and hits the road to face No. 25 Nicholls in Southland Conference football Saturday at 3 p.m. at Guidry Stadium. The Husky Sports Network audio broadcast with Lonnie King can be heard on KKME Digital Radio and will be shown on ESPN Plus.

Junior quarterback
Bailey Zappe has completed 288-of-428 passes for 2,947 yards and 29 touchdowns for the Huskies (4-5, 1-4 SLC). He leads the nation in completions and touchdowns, ranks second in yards and sixth in completion percentage. Sophomore wide receiver
Jerreth Sterns ranks second nationally with 84 receptions for 669 yards and six touchdowns, while junior
Ben Ratzlaff has 62 catches for 791 yards and 10 touchdowns, the second-most nationally. Sophomore running back
Ean Beek has rushed for 598 yards and four touchdowns and caught 24 passes for 221 yards and a pair of scores.

Senior defensive end
Andre Walker leads the nation with 13.5 sacks for 95 yard lost. Sophomore linebacker
Brennan Young leads the conference with 102 tackles and has two intercpetions, while junior linebacker
Caleb Johnson averages 10.1 tackles per game and has six sacks, two fumble recoveries and an interception. Freshman kicker
Gino Garcia has connected on 15-of-17 field goals and junior punter
Blake Patterson averages 42.3 yards.

Chase Fourcade has completed 145-of-219 passes for 1,764 yards and seven touchdowns, while rushing for 445 yards and nine touchdowns for the Colonels (5-4, 4-2). Julien Gums has rushed for 690 yards and 11 touchdowns. Dai'Jean Dixon has made 26 receptions for 481 yards and two touchdowns.

Kevin Moore leads Nicholls with 74 tackles, while Allen Pittman has made 70. Sully Laiche leads the Colonels with six sacks and seven different players have made an interception.

Nicholls leads the all-time series against HBU, 4-1. The Huskies won the first meeting, but the Colonels have won the last four, including a 41-20 victory in Houston last year.

HBU returns home for Senior Day and Military and First Responders Day to host Lamar Saturday, Nov. 16 at Husky Stadium, before wrapping up the season at Sam Houston State Nov. 23 in Huntsville.
