MSOC: Huskies Battle From Behind to Down California Baptist
HOUSTON, TX- HBU Men's Soccer took down California Baptist Friday night at Sorrels Field by a score of 2-1.
HBU battled back as Daniel Johnsson scored in the 12th minute to give the Lancers a 1-0 league. The Huskies were faced with more adversity as
Gianluca Natera drew a straight red card in the 24th minute to put the Huskies in a deep hole. HBU would continue to battle and tied the game early in the second half as
Dominick Faletto would net a ball from
Luis Poblacion. The Huskies would get back on the board in what would be the game winner as
Michael Gordon headed a ball once again from
Luis Poblacion.
Jorge Cabrera got the win in goal making four saves on the night.Â
The Huskies improve to (6-9, 4-5 WAC) winning three straight games and hosting CSU-Bakersfield Sunday afternoon.Â
