HOUSTON – HBU faces UTSA Friday, then Cornell and host Houston Saturday in non-conference volleyball at the Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup at the UH Athletics/Alumni Center.

Brianna McCulloch averages 3.70 kills per set for UTSA, with Kirby Smith chipping in with 3.05 kills and 3.91 digs per set. Amanda Gonzales dishes out 10.57 assists per set and Shelby Williams is tied with Smith for the team lead in digs.
Carla Sganderlia leads Cornell (2-1) with 3.10 kills per set, with Sophia Beaudoin, Avery Hanan, Jada Stackhouse, Jillienne Bennett and Lauren Stubbs averaging at least two kills per set. Lily Barner comes up with 4.54 digs per set for the Big Red.
Houston (8-0) is off to an undefeated start behind the play of Megan Duncan, who leads the Cougars with 3.59 kills per set. Gabi Zelaya adds 2.58 kills per set and Kendall Haywood and Silvia Pertens each average at least two kills per set. Katie Karbo anchors UH defensively with 5.06 digs per set.
