EDINBURG, Texas – HBU finishes up the non-conference portion of its schedule when it takes on Texas Tech and Texas Southern Friday, followed by host UT Rio Grande Valley Saturday in the UTRGV Volleyball Tournament at UTRGV Fieldhouse.
The Huskies (6-5) are led by redshirt freshman outside hitter
Kelly Colwell, who averages 3.17 kills and 2.08 digs per set and sophomore outside hitter

HBU will be facing Texas Tech (8-3) for the first time this season, while the Huskies swept Texas Southern (1-8) on the road on Aug. 28 and downed UTRGV, 3-1, in the season-opening tournament at Sharp Gym on Aug. 25.
The Huskies open Southland Conference play at home against New Orleans Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m., followed by Nicholls Saturday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at Sharp Gym.
