ABILENE, Texas – HBU kicks off a three-game road stretch against Abilene Christian in Southland Conference volleyball Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Moody Coliseum.
 
Sophomore outside hitter Mikayla Vivens leads the SLC with 14 double-doubles, averaging 3.37 kills and 3.24 digs per set for the Huskies (9-10, 2-3 SLC). Sophomore middle blocker Megan Patillo adds 1.94 kills and nearly a block per set. Freshman outside hitter Catherine Drapela and sophomore right side Ashtyn Richey average 1.86 and 1.80 kills per set, respectively. Senior setter Madison O'Brien ranks second in the conference with 9.17 assists per set to go along with 2.38 digs per set. Junior libero Hannah Lewis ranks sixth in the SLC with 3.97 digs per set.
 
Jacey Smith averages 2.84 kills and 2.34 digs per set, while Katelyn Mueller averages 2.71 kills and 2.71 digs per set for ACU (6-10, 3-1). Lauren Walker adds 2.00 kills and leads the Wildcats with 53 blocks. Kendall Bosse leads the league with 9.76 assists per set and Lillian Drever ranks among the top five with 4.40 digs per set.
 
The Huskies continue the trip against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Corpus Christi, are idle Saturday, then close it out against Sam Houston State Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 p.m. in Huntsville.
