HOUSTON – After four of its last five on the road, HBU returns to host McNeese Thursday and Lamar Saturday to begin a four-match homestand in Southland Conference volleyball at Sharp Gym.

Keegan Nelms leads McNeese (5-17, 3-4) with 2.41 kills per set and Paige Havel is hitting .278 with an average of 1.81 kills per set and leading the conference with 1.30 blocks per set. Caitlin Sharrock averages 5.87 assists per set and Angela McGownd ranks eighth in the league with 3.94 digs per set.
Tomar Thomas stands 10
th in the league with 2.91 kills per set for Lamar (6-13, 3-5). Dim Ivette is hitting .267 with an average of 1.87 kills per set. Kyla Rogers averages 4.84 assists per set, while Alyssa Legette adds 4.56 per set. Erin Pequeno leads the Cardinals' defense with 3.08 digs per set.
The Huskies wrap up the homestand next week against Abilene Christian on Dig Pink Thursday, Oct. 25, followed by Sam Houston State on Saturday, Oct. 27.
