HOUSTON - On Saturday, Oct. 28, head coach
Ron Cottrell and the HBU men's basketball program held the fifth annual Tip-Off Club Kickoff Event with special guest Rudy Tomjanovich in McNair Hall on the HBU campus.
The largest crowd in the event's history was on hand with emcee John Lopez welcoming attendees. The fans in attendance got the opportunity to hear from HBU president, Dr. Robert B. Sloan, coach Cottrell and Rudy T while enjoying a delicious bbq lunch as part of the weekend's Homecoming festivities.
HBU men's basketball opens the 2017-18 season on Friday, Nov. 10, with the opening game of the 2K Classic Benefitting Wounded Warrior Project against Providence in Providence, R.I.
