HOUSTON - On Saturday evening in Sharp Gym the HBU men's basketball team will look to remain undefeated at home on the 2016-17 season as the Huskies face off against Arlington Baptist for a non-conference tilt set to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. The Legacy Sports Network live audio broadcast with Lonnie King and the HBU Live video broadcast will both be available at HBUHuskies.com.

Colter Lasher moved into a tie for 10
th on the all-time three-point field goals made list during the Huskies (3-5) last game at No. 9 Indiana. With 94 career three-pointers, he sits just 14 away from ninth on the list.
In that last game at Indiana, HBU fell to the Hoosiers by a score of 103-61. Lasher finished with a game-high 18 points thanks to 8-13 shooting from the floor.
Reveal Chukwujekwu added 15 points and led the Huskies with six rebounds. The Huskies struggled from three in the contest, connecting on just 2-17 from range.
For the season, the Huskies are averaging 79.9 points per game and shooting 44.5 percent from the field. In three home games thus far, HBU is out-scoring its opponents by more than 30 points per game. Lasher is leading the Huskies with 13.8 points per game while junior center
Josh Ibarra is pulling down six boards per game and averaging more than 10 points per outing.
Arlington Baptist (7-7) enters the game ranked ninth in the National Christian College Athletic Association top-10 poll and averaging 81.9 points per contest. The Patriots are led in scoring and rebounding by sophomore Kennedy Jones with 14.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Cedric Carson adds 14 per game with three other players averaging more than 10.
HBU and Arlington Baptist have played in each of the previous three seasons. Last year, the Huskies came out on top by a score of 110-53 with six HBU players scoring in double-figures.
The Huskies hit the road for their last game before the start of Southland Conference play to take on the Northwestern Wildcats in Evanston, Ill. on Dec. 22 at 7:00 p.m.
