Ricmonds Vilde will be honored during a pregame ceremony. As part of HBU Basketball's 50th Season celebration, the Huskies will also unveil the final of six All-Decade Teams, the 2010s team, during a halftime presentation.
The Huskies (11-16, 6-11 SLC) return to Sharp Gym, where they are 9-3 this season, and are looking to snap a six-game losing streak. They are led by junior guard
Anthony Odunsi, who averages 12.0 points and 2.5 assists per game, and sophomore forward
Colter Lasher, who adds 10.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Freshman center
Josh Ibarra averages 6.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.
Denzel Livingston leads the Cardinals (18-9, 10-7) with 22.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Kyle Hittle adds 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, while Jontrell Walker averages 14.4 points and Traylin Farris averages 10.0 points per game.
UIW claimed this season's previous meeting against HBU, 77-64, on Feb. 23 in San Antonio. Odunsi had 15 points for the Huskies, while Ibarra had 14 points and 14 rebounds. Hittle scored 25 of his 28 points in the second half, and Livingston finished with 16 points.
