CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Freshman outside hitter
Jessica Wooten recorded 11 kills and 15 digs to help the Huskies roll past Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-20) in Southland Conference volleyball Saturday afternoon at the Dugan Wellness Center.

Haley Hoffman had a match-high of 20 digs, while freshman defensive specialist
Beth Shecterle had 13 digs for the Huskies. Armer also contributed with 10 digs for HBU.
Ivy Baresh and Brianna Brink led the Islanders with nine kills each. Logen Bourque recorded 30 assists for Corpus Christi. Baresh also led the Islanders with 15 digs. Shayla Maldonado had 12 digs for Corpus Christi.
The Huskies outblocked the Islanders 6-2. HBU outhit Corpus Christi by 10 kills. The Huskies also outdug the Islanders 68-60.
The Huskies are currently in sixth place in the Southland standings. They will return to action Tuesday, Nov. 12 against McNeese State at 7 p.m. in Lake Charles, La.
