PLANO, Texas – Houston Baptist and Central Arkansas battled for 110 minutes without a winner, as the two teams tied, 0-0, Wednesday evening.

HBU outshot the Bears, 15-10. The Huskies were led by Kristopher Tyrpak with three shots, two on goal. Marcos Escobar, Mark Gendi, Walter Kromholz, John McDuffee and Leonel Munoz had two shots apiece. Gendi and Munoz each had a shot on goal.

Kevin Suarez made three saves for the Huskies.

The Bears were led by Joseph Cervantes, Mickey Segura and Ethan Miller with two shots apiece. Cervantes, Miller and Denmark Gillings each had a shot on goal.

Amir Pasic made four saves for UCA.

HBU will continue Atlantic Soccer Conference play hosting NJIT on Sat., Oct. 15 at 7 pm at Sorrels Field, followed by the final home match on Mon., Oct. 17 at 7 pm, as the Huskies host Oral Roberts.
