Perri had a great showing at the Tyson Invitational, hosted by the University of Arkansas, last weekend. He broke the school record on Saturday in the men's 3000-meters in 8:21.91, breaking the previous mark of 8:24.96, set by Maximo Mendoza. He finished in 12th place. The previous day, Perri rolled to a 4:14.23 to place 15th.
