Junior second baseman Jake Miller hit safely in all four games against Northwestern State, extending his hitting streak to eight games overall. The Round Rock, Texas, native went 2-for-5 and scored a run in Friday’s series-opening win. Miller then went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run in game one of the doubleheader and followed by going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run in the Huskies’ 6-2 victory in game two. Miller went 3-for-5 and drove in three runs in Sunday’s one-run loss.
