Jefferson, a freshman guard, averaged 21 points and five rebounds in two games last week. That included a career-high 27 points against Nicholls with the freshman connecting on 5-of-10 from three-point range and 10-of-21 from the floor. Jefferson is now averaging a team-best 11.2 points per game.
