Senior wide receiver Gamar Girdy Brito made seven catches for 53 yards and a touchdown and had three kickoff returns for 127 yards in the Huskies' 38-36 setback to UIW Saturday. The Victoria, Texas, native caught a 17-yard touchdown with 3:14 remaining in the game, but HBU was unsuccessful on the two-point conversion. After UIW scored the opening touchdown in the first quarter, Brito returned the ensuing kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown. For his efforts, he was named Southland Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
